The bath oil filter with plastic cover remains very close to the sleeves and turbines therefore the wrench allows you to work from above and adapting a classic extension for disassembly.
The plastic bottom diesel filter, having very low sides, requires almost exclusively a wrench that works circularly on the entire body, and then adapting a classic 1/2 ratchet for disassembly.
